Make Your Own Kind Of Music

I’m really leaving. Following a dizzying day and a half in Chicago that started with a four-thirty AM wake up, included midnight Irish car bombs with strangers in a dim and empty bar, and concluded with a hungover El ride and flight back to KC, I have my Korean visa and a booked flight to Seoul for next Thursday, November 26. After the bullshit of prolonged delays and the jackassery of the Korean government, it is good to know that this is finally happening. There might be another post or two while I am still in the States, but look for much more (pictures, stories, videos) once I am in that crazy new city next week.

I Turn My Camera On

Welcome to The Great Blog Experiment. While this blog will mainly be used as a form of communicating my adventures in South Korea to everyone back in the US, I will also talk about various mundanities that attract my interest. These include but are not limited to:

  • My awful sense of humor
  • The Simpsons
  • Music I like
  • Some sports
  • Books
  • Lost
  • Important opinions

And, of course, there will be no shortage of funny internet videos about cats.

I am set to leave the United States on Thursday, November 19th. From then on, expect more excitement, new Asian business, lots of laughs, some tears, blah, blah, blah.

I love you all and I’ll see you on the other side.
